Registration for the 2026-2027 Toronto Catholic District School Board school year starts January 21, 2026 10:00 AM EST.

Junior Kindergarten is not mandatory; however, your child will be placed age-appropriately the following year into Senior Kindergarten.

Schools make their arrangements for open house dates, tours and registration hours. Please contact your closest elementary school for more information.

Final placement is subject to meeting with the school. | Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will start on January 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST.

Please note that applications entered before the above start time are considered for the current school year (2025-2026) and are invalid for September 2026. | | Need help finding a TCDSB school near you? Those wishing to apply outside their boundary can submit an out-of-boundary request.

Acceptance is not guaranteed; TCDSB will assign a school with available space. | | WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD

• Original proof of Catholicity (may include: child, parent’s Catholic baptismal certificate, or a a to R.C.I.A./R.C.I.C. enrolment letter)

• Proof of Address, 2 current documents (may include a utility bill, insurance policy, lease agreement, mortgage statement, etc.) View full list of acceptable proof of address here.

• Passport / Immigration Documents (if your child was not born in Canada)

• Proof of Immunization: Report online or contact Toronto Public Health for more information.

You need to provide original documents to the school at the time of registration. The school will only copy what is necessary and return the original documents to the parents. | | ONLINE REGISTRATION

Upon accessing the online application, you will be issued a File Number and an Application Date and Time. Please record this information for future reference.

1. A complete application has been submitted to the school.
2. A meeting with school personnel has taken place.
3. All documentation has been submitted and validated by the school.
